Sea to Sky Golf Company launches Cherry Tees for Charity Promotion
Cherry Flavoured Tees help add FLAVOUR to the game
Vancouver BC, August 20, 2007.
The Sea to Sky Golf Company and Tasty Golf Tees, LLC are launching the "Cherry Tees for Charity" Initiative. With the peak of the upcoming corporate golf season both companies have teamed up to help golfers 'Add some flavour to their game', while raising some money for their favourite local charity.
Tasty Golf Tees launched their flavoured golf tees last year and they have been a run away hit at golf events throughout North America. What makes these tees unique is that they're left uncoated and go through a sterilization process before being flavoured, making them safe to pop in your mouth while out on the golf course. "We always thought that regular Tees were kind of bland, so we decided to add some punch, we started with Cherry and now are into a whole range of flavours" states
John Packes, President of Tasty Golf Tees.
"The Cherry Flavoured Golf Tees and our association with Charitable Events and fundraising are a great fit, plus the slogan was kind of catchy, some of the local charities are going to have some fun with this" says Geoffrey Gachallan, Founder and President of the Sea to Sky golf Company.
The retail price of each bag of 10 tees is five dollars, with 30% going to Sea to Sky Golf Affiliated Benefactors (UNICEF and Pacific Assistance Dogs Society). Companies and individuals will have the opportunity to purchase them in bulk and sell them at golf tournaments and parties as a way to raise some extra money for their favourite charity. Some golf tournaments have used them to track mulligans in a unique way. Individually wrapped tees can be sold as mulligans or bags of 10 can even been sold as high as $100! The creativity is left up to the individual organizers. Charities custom brand the packaging with their logo or a photo. If you already have had your tournament it is a great thank you gift or a reminder to register for next years event, you can even put a memorable picture or website name on the packaging.
For the month of September, FACEBOOK users upload photos of your best Cherry Tease on our facebook group (Cherry Tees for Charity) and you can win some cool swag!! You never know where that may take you?
